In Search of Plus Size Halloween Costumes
August 26th, 2010 by admin
As a stylist, it is my job to find the most appropriate attire for my clients. It is not just my job to make them look good or to have them in on the latest fashion trends. As a stylist, I am connected with a lot of designers and stores so that I can easily get stuff for my clients. From basic tee shirt companies to lingerie shops like leg avenue, it is important for a stylist to have a good relationship with store owners. One of the most challenging things for a stylist is to find plus size halloween costumes. Normally, the costumes that are available are for those of normal sizes and if there are plus sizes that are available, it is not suitable or what the client would want to wear. It is difficult to rent plus size costumes, normally, you would have to make one. But, a lot of stores have been open and catering to the plus size women nowadays. That’s a relief. Thanks to the open-mindedness of some designers and retailers, plus sizes clothing has been made available and fashionable. It is not the normal black or covered silhouettes, but some clothes are rather more adventurous, more risqué and more fashionable. This is a proof that we humans are now being more open to fashion ideas, regardless of sizes. We are becoming more acceptable of what is normal; of what we do not see in magazines. The fashion industry is now opening its doors to real women.
