When Is Passport Not Required and When Do Uou Need Passports To Fly

August 28th, 2010 by admin

I am getting ready to take a trip with friends that we have been planning for years and finally, we are going. We had to make sure our passports are up to date and get any shots that might be required. Starting out, where we are going, our Passport Not Required, but we still need passports to fly. We are starting in Hawaii and then from there to Europe. I have been dreaming of this trip and we have two weeks to go to all the places we want to go. So, going to Hawaii, passport not required, but flying from there to London, you have to have a passport to fly. I want to go to London first, to see the changing of the guards and maybe catch a glimpse of the Queen. Everyone, of course, wants to see the crown jewels and from what I have read, you can see then, but you go through very tight security. I dont blame them guarding them so well because just think how many Queens have worn that crown. We were told, to always have out passports with us because thats our main identification instrument. I dont think my Texas drivers license would mean much in the UK. I am sure there are many places that you can go where your passport not required, but the minute you go to board a plane you have to have your passports to fly. I have been to some places, outside of the US, but it wasnt a pleasure trip, like this one. There are four of us on this trip and all we want to do is see the sights and have fun.We are going to the UK and then on to France, and then Spain on the way back home. I guard my passport with my life because if I lost it, I dont want to spend most of my vacation at the American Embassy waiting on a new passport.
