October 14th, 2010 by admin

Martin has been saving her money for a little while now. He has been planning on buying a new mobile phone and still remained undecided as to which model to go for. He has been thinking of getting an iPhone that way it would be very easy to sync on his macbook. However ever since Shelby said that iPhones are overrated he soon started having doubts and is now leaning towards getting either an HTC Hero or an HTC Magic. The money he has saved up for many months now seems to be big enough to pay for either units in cash. All that is left right now is the move to buy. While he was doing his research he saw an post online, a technical article really on how to connect htc hero to mac and he readily bookmarked the site on Safari. In case he decides to buy an HTC hero this post would come in handy in the advent that he needs to connect it to his macbook. As he continues surfing the web he landed on a page where a user complained saying, “why is my htc magic slow?”. There were several responses to it and this definitely made a huge impact on his decision. He is now leaning towards HTC Hero and considering the price difference with both units he is more likely to go for HTC Hero. I am not sure what the features these phones have but I have never been much of a phone gal. I only like a simple phone where I could send text messages and make calls, that’s about it. But most of the people I know seems to have a fascination for high end phones.

Many 3G users today feared that they should have waited for 4G to come out. To get a better understanding between the two, let us first focus on the very nature of both technologies. First, 3G is a wireless technology that gives emphasis on high speed transmission, advanced multimedia access and global roaming. Usually, 3G is most often applied in mobile phones. On the other hand, 4G internet gives a comprehensive and secure all-IP based solution with new frequency bands. It offers services such as ultra-broadband internet access, multimedia streaming access and other gaming services. 4G is usually applied with a dongle that is inserted into one’s laptop computer.

Expensive Smartphones are Only Helpful to Those Who Make Money out of it

September 18th, 2010 by admin

Many believe that smartphones are really good because it is loaded with extraordinary features that no other ordinary phones can compete. Yes, no one can argue with that. With the slick style of smart phones, the 3G and Wireless Fidelity capabilities of it, what you do in your laptop or desktop computers you also can do it using this types of mobile phone. The pioneer of this exceptional innovation is the Blackberry. Since the year 2000, the company is creating the possibility of using the mobile phone in sending an e-mail message. They become popular to the business-minded people because they can use this as the medium in sending and receive e-mails wherever they go. Almost everybody who carries a Blackberry with them should agree that this is a phone which exceeds their expectations. Before, people can only do so much with a cellular phone. Call and text is the basic feature but year after year, the mobile phone industry just keeps getting better. There are several smartphone models for Blackberry which are readily available in the market. They just only vary with design and features modification. A top pick is Blackberry Bold 9700. The phone is good just like the other phone models. The problem with blackberry bold 9700 becomes apparent though. There are several applications that get error messages every time one tries to use it. It gets irritating at times. The screen freezes and you need to restart it in order to function properly again. It is such a hassle to the users who experience this. The problem with Blackberry phones should be fixed soon. Maybe, the firmware of the phones should be investigated to know what was wrong and should be fixed immediately. Firmware can be updated from their sites and the users need to download this in their phones. Blackberry will lose a part of its business if they don’t pay attention to this problem.

Photographs And Videos All Uploaded On Facebook

August 23rd, 2010 by admin

Documenting each and every adventure and travel escapade is Sara’s favorite hobby. Her friends would love it if she can make it on every occasion they go out because they would be assured that at the end of the day they would have several mementos and videos to look back. She has been fascinated with photos and videos that whenever we go out she is always geared with her video cam and Nikon D5000 DSLR. The group has dubbed her our “official photographer and videographer” and she’s loving it. Whenever she is around and with us in our tour no one else brings their camera with them. Sara has always uploaded the photos and videos on Facebook. Though she is well versed with video cams and DSLR’s but she is average with computers and the internet. There was a time when we heard her ask Lance, “how can i upload a video on facebook”?. Lance being very internet savvy showed her the ropes and now she is able to upload all our photos and videos without a hitch. She always organize them by album labeling completely with the event name, venue and date. She would also take the time to tag every photo making it very easy for us to see which photos we are in. Personally, I thought that task very tedious and I never took the time to do it. It’s just plain tiring. Just yesterday we heard her ask Lance, “how to ignore someone on facebook’. We all teased her about it, is it some guy she is avoiding and she just rolled her eyes on us. Seriously she spends so much time online on facebook either playing with the many games or just checking out her friends, it’s crazy.
