Microsoft to Generate More Jobs through Online Service

July 1st, 2010 by admin

Microsoft, manufacturer of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project is now thinking of giving back to the community.

Having seen how the recession has hit the United States causing people to lose everything they own in a flash, Bill Gates decided that Microsoft can do more for the country.

Since there was a decline on the job opportunities available and the government is still waiting for the budget to be approved, Gates has seen this as a perfect opportunity to introduce three new customer service centres for Microsoft.

These new customer service centres will be able to provide jobs for about 3,000 people. The location has already been established and ground works have already commenced. According to a Microsoft insider, the service centres will probably be opening by the end of September 2010.

Even with the construction works still ongoing, applicants have already started to line up outside Microsoft’s office. There is no age requirement for this kind of work as long as you will be friendly and cheerful to your clients.

Soon-to-be customer service representatives should have advanced to excellent knowledge on how to use Microsoft’s services. More applicants are required to support Microsoft Excel as a lot of students require help with excel formulas for their projects and professionals needs help with excel charts for their presentations.

Different representatives will be assigned to different software troubleshooting. There will be reps who will be engaged on assisting their clients through voice calls while other through email or on line help.

President Obama has expressed his gratitude to Bill Gates and Microsoft for supporting the government in achieving their objective of providing more work for the people.
